So, tonight was the reopening and over 200 kids showed up (on a school night). We heard all kinds of comments. Guess they like it 🙂

Grass Patch
Stopped by the park yesterday to see the progress…
A few of the guys were skating a litle four stair I helped build. It was a favorite….YES!!!! They still have some work the next 2 days, but it’s almost done and ready for opening on Tuesday.
The guys added an amazing grass patch gap. Max’s dad hooked us up with some realistic looking grass. Thanks!
Uli took some of the skaters to a demo at Element Youth Group in Pembroke Pines. It was nice to have a small break. The

Pray for Uli. He is exhausted from the build but is heading over today to continue to build. He doesn’t have tons of help, so if you are over 18 and want to help.
So, we wanted to open tomorrow, but when it’s been 5 years since a total remodel, we want to do things right. So, we will re-open on Tuesday. One of the skaters says the park is a “Go big or go home” park but we think it’s just a “Go big or go skate with the groms in the mini section” park. With that said, we know the next contest, April 10th will be off-the -hook! Don’t miss it.
We are also heading to Vans a week from Monday. Sign ups begin Tuesday!

So, the guys really intended to open on Saturday, but they still have so much to do….Thus, the kick-off will be Tuesday. Join us for Bible Study at 7pm and skate the park for FREE!
If you want to help out, call Uli at 954-304-5238 or just show up at the park. They will need painters, cleaners, builder, someone to videotape, take photos, plant plants, organize, and get it ready for opening.
Yes…It’s been ten days of hard work and there is still so much more to do. The guys pushed back reopening to Tuesday but it WILL be worth it! Be praying for endurance, unity, safety, willing workers, inspiration, and a renewed spirit for Joe & Uli.

The park is looking better and better each day. Uli’s foot is feeling good and the Lord continues to bless the guys with willing workers. Hard core disciples still showed up in the dust and chaos for Tuesday night Bible Study and although they could not skate, we were blessed to have an intimate time of studying God’s Word.

Hey guys it’s Ulie I totally dropped the ball on the blogging part of things but no doubt we have been working hard to give the park a face lift. I’m going to post some cool photos from day one to present.I want to thank all of you who have been helping.We can still use the help, so here’s my number if you are interested in helping out 954 304-5238….We need people to paint, organize, build and move stuff. Saturday, I had a ramp crush my foot and I’ve been limping around (it hurts so so so bad) but I can’t let that slow things down. So far we moved the euro gap all the way across the other end of the park put the 3 gap 3 back to original place and added the hubba ledge. There are some additional features we added as well. I think you guys are going to love it. I’ll post photos so you can see ok .All the way back up against the fence we built the wall of ramps that include a roll in 2 six foot quarters. 20 foot wide 8 ft. quarters and a 12 ft vert wall.WE are starting to build the middle section,so keep checking up with us or call me later guys….Also come to Tuesday night bible study, we will be open at 7-730 for the study and you guys can Get a sneak peek at what we are doing…….Love you guys……..
